Title: Regional Sales – West Coast

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Regional Sales Director at GPI Beauty is responsible for maintaining and expanding existing accounts, as well as acquiring new customers within their designated territory. This sales position requires interaction with customer contacts at various levels, including purchasing, packaging, operations, marketing, design, quality, and supply chain teams. The target accounts will range from small businesses to large corporations, primarily in the beauty and personal care markets. The successful candidate will use the SAP platform to optimize sales processes, enhance customer engagement, and drive revenue growth.
Essential Functions
- Grow Topline Sales: Drive revenue growth by increasing sales across all product lines and developing new business opportunities through targeted strategies.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business prospects through cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry connections.
- Customer Engagement: Interact regularly with existing customers to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Account Management: Develop and implement tailored selling strategies for assigned customers and prospects, focusing on long-term growth and account retention.
- Revenue Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain annual revenue budgets aligned with corporate goals and objectives.
- Sales Reporting: Submit timely and accurate information for corporate reporting, including weekly updates and SAP reporting to track sales performance.
- Strategic Account Planning: Create, update, and execute Strategic Account Plans for assigned clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and providing regular business reporting.
- SAP Utilization: Update and maintain SAP CRM accuracy, including creating and managing customer accounts and opportunities as outlined in the standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Opportunity Tracking: Create and track opportunities in SAP, ensuring all relevant sales data is captured and monitored throughout the sales cycle.
- Client Support: Provide consistent and outstanding client support and service, addressing any inquiries or issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with all levels of co-workers, including those in offices and manufacturing plants, to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. This position occasionally requires night and weekend hours.
Travel
Travel is required for this position locally on a daily basis. Overnight travel will vary depending on the assigned accounts and/or territory but may be up to 50% of the time.
