Title: Supply Chain Manager
Reports to: Sr. Director of PD & Operations
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Supply Chain Manager at GPI Beauty is integral to managing customer service operations and administrative activities within our beauty manufacturing and packaging company. With the recent implementation of SAP for our ERP processes, this position will leverage the platform to enhance operational efficiency, streamline communication, and improve customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring seamless order processing, effective supply chain management, and timely communication with customers and internal teams.
Essential Functions
- Order Management: Interact with customers to process incoming orders, promptly acknowledging each order to ensure a positive experience.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of company accounts and order information in SAP.
- Daily Reporting: Check and respond to daily production reports from factories, addressing any issues that may arise.
- Open Order Reporting: Regularly maintain and update the open order report. Review it weekly with the company and customers to track order status and ensure timely delivery. Leading open order report calls with clients.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Coordinate with the accounts receivable team to resolve any discrepancies related to payments received from customers, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Purchase Order Management: Create, modify, and cancel purchase orders in SAP. Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and up to date, following the established SOP for procurement processes.
- Sales Order Management: Manage the creation and processing of sales orders, ensuring all details are accurate and aligned with customer expectations. Generate and send confirmation PDFs to customers.
- Customer Demand Release: Monitor and release customer demand in SAP to ensure inventory availability for inbound shipments, coordinating stock transfers as necessary.
Job Skills & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) are a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or customer service roles
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SAP for supply chain management, with in-depth knowledge of order management, purchasing, and logistics processes.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Customer Service Orientation: A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring customer needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. This position occasionally requires night and weekend hours.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
